Galveston!

In July, we took our first vacation as a family of 3 to the beach.  We packed up the car and drove six hours to Galveston, Texas.  When you have a toddler, you never know how they are going to react to vacation.  Meg had never been to the beach before...was she going to love it or be terrified?

 

Let's just say that little Miss Meg LOVED vacation.  She loved every part of it.  She played so well in the condo, enjoyed spending all day at the pool and was even a very brave girl at the beach.  I wish I had taken 1,000 pictures to document the fun we had...but they all would have looked about the same because we did the same thing everyday!

 

Meg was a bit timid of the ocean, but the sand was great fun!

We fed the seagulls, and then she kept asking for "birds eat."

We got gorgeous weather the whole time we were there.  With our early
riser, we were sure to be the first one at the beach or pool everyday!

We spent most of our time at the amazing pool!  We heard Meg yell,
"Ready!  Go!" over and over.  That is what she says before she jumps in.

We saw kites everywhere!  By the end of our trip, Meg had to have one.
